On them being forced to cancel their sold-out European spring tour due to Bill’s larynx surgery, guitarist and twin brother Tom Kaulitz explained that Bill lost his voice after the show in Marseille and following a visit to a specialist was ordered to undergo surgery at his vocal chords. Was not allowed to speak and laugh for ten days, he however is having things written down on a book to help him communicate with others. Is said to be doing fine post the surgery, Bill just can’t wait to go back on stage and perform.

Bill’s larynx surgery reluctantly becomes a blessing in disguise for the other band members: Georg Listing, Gustav Schafer, and Tom himself as it makes it possible for them all to have more time with friends and family and also to relax. Promised fans they will jump back on stage soon as Bill is allowed, Tom has also revealed that the band has just secured a lot of summer festivals all over Europe starting in June.
